My Story
The goal was $500 and we reached that in less than a day! Let’s go for $5000.
This September, my goal is to ride at least 150 miles throughout the month to help fight kids’ cancer through the Great Cycle Challenge. I don’t know any kids with cancer personally, but I want to do my part to help make a difference.
Childhood cancer is tough, and the more we raise, the better the chances for kids to get the treatments and support they need. Every mile I ride and every dollar raised goes toward helping kids and their families.
I’m also hoping to find at least one generous donor who will match $1 for every mile I ride—if anyone agrees, I will push to double the miles to 300. I work full time and have three kids under ten at home, this won’t be easy. lol.
If you want to support this cause, I’d really appreciate any donation, or just join me on a ride. You can track my progress daily starting September 1st. I don’t even have a road bike, I’m doing this on a mountain bike. Ha!
