This September will mark my 10th year riding in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight childhood cancer. I ride in honor of my sister, who lost her battle with cancer at just 5 years old. Her memory fuels every mile I pedal, and I ride so that other children and families don’t have to face the same heartbreak.

Over the past 9 years, with the help of generous supporters, I’ve ridden 1,587 miles and raised over $56,653.98 to fund life-saving research, develop safer and more effective treatments, and bring us closer to finding cures for all childhood cancers.

This year, my goal is to ride 150 miles in September. Every climb, every mile, and every ride is dedicated to the brave kids who are fighting every single day. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
