My Story
Last year Jeanette and I rode across the state of Michigan for our Kids Cancer Challenge. We stared in Douglas and finished in Port Huron. This year we have decide to increase our challenge and ride from Westland to Petoskey. We have been labeled crazy, numerous times for riding, these distances (312 miles) on a bike. But no one asked us why?
Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
We ride all over the place, just for exercise, entertainment and joy. We love this ride because it gives us purpose and a way of giving back.
We are asking our Friends and Family to support us for this noble cause. If you are unable to do so financially, then support us spiritually with encouragement and prayer. But pray first for the kids and family fighting this terrible disease
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
