Joe Dewaele is the kid who inspired team "Joestrong" to be created and we ride in his honor. Joe was the most generous soul you ever met, and in his memory we ride in honor of all children who are fighting or who have fought cancer. Don't let our name dissuade you. Our team is inclusive of anybody who through the Great Cycle Challenge fights for all children, and among our ranks we have cancer survivors, cancer fighters, as well as, people who ride in memory of family members and/ or friends and people who didn't have a connection to pediatric cancer before. We have been one of the most successful teams because we work as a family and look after each other, if this sounds like it's for you. Join us. You are #Joestrong 💛

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
