I'm Riding For
Brian D. Anderson, aka MLB.

My friend Brian D. Anderson recently passed away. He did not die of cancer, but cared deeply about people. He was an avid cyclist and this is something he would have done. While overseas, in the US Army, he got close to, and helped, children in Iraq. He was an extremely caring person with a smile that would light up an entire room. I really feel that Brian would have taken part in this fundraising and challenge if he was still with us today. By raising these funds I hope that I am in some small part helping this much needed research and making my friend Brian proud. Love you and miss you, Brian.
My Story
This September 2024, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! My 5th year of many to come.
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So my Cannondale Topstone, Poseidon Redwood, legs and heart are raising funds through this challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
And every ride, I Will speak Brian's name because he would be doing this with you and I.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
