I first rode in the Great Cycle Challenge in 2021 right after my wife, Joan, survived the surgery that removed her second tumor in her throat. In my grief for the loss she had just suffered, I had to do something to fight back against cancer. Riding my bike/trike was the only way I had. So, I rode.
I continue to ride. I continue to raise money for this important cause.
