• Heading towards Roadanthe, cycling to Hatteras
    5 Sep 2025

Hello friends and family. Yesterday was a wonderful ride from KDH to Corolla Lighthouse.

Today our ride starts at Roadanthe and will end at Hatteras Islanding. The Lord allowed me to make it to Hatteras. He kept me nourished and safe.

God is with her she will not fall. Psalm 46:5

Count your blessings one by one and see what God has done.

Blessings upon you and your family.

Update. Even though I was plenty hydrated and had rehydrating fruits and electrolytes along with frequent stops to drink and eat the heat from the sun and vehicles still caused dehydration (electrolyte imbalances in my body) My muscles were all tingling and felt numb after the ride ended. I know when God puts me to something He will get me through it. He knows my limits. Today 8/6/25 I will be relaxing, refueling and doing light stretches to recover and rebuild. I also plan to stay out of the Sun. The traffic started picking up around 4 and not enough “sharing the road happened with vehicles cyclists and walkers(only a unmaintained narrow sidewalk for pedestrians and cyclists to stay safe.) I called the ride at the end of Hatteras before Buxton. We are half way through the ride!! Next week will finish the other 50 miles through short distances. Recovery is my main priority today through Monday. Always remember to count your blessings and give thanks to our Lord Jesus above first and foremost. Refocus, recenter.

One more note. As I was riding on the narrow stretch of biking path I continually felt God’s presence and protection surrounding me. Always ask, seek and knock. God will answer, you will find him when you keep seeking Him and for every knock God will open doors. His timing His way.

    Recovery time!!!

People who have hope in the Lord will soar like eagles. Isaiah 41:30.

I am heading out to start my Rodanthe cycling training. Will write more later.

Did a one way stretch from Rodanthe to Avon. I could have come back but remember it’s a marathon not a sprint to the finish. My speed was 12 mph. I am looking forward to cycling with all of you to kick children’s cancer once and for all!!! For God and the Children!

Hello to all my friend and community that donated to this KICK Children’s cancer butt cause we all know CANCER SUCK!!!

Today August 11th 2025. @ 12 pm I started on a cycling journey from my home to Duck NC and wouldn’t you know it the sky opened up and it poured down and still pouring down. I am currently hunkered down at Sand Run Park in Kitty Hawk. When God decides to open up the heavens and kiss us with rain I find it beautiful and refreshing plus the sound of God’s rain is soothing from any burdens you might have. I started sing a Worship and Praise Him song while riding. I will spare you all the whole song. “Fall like rain Holy Spirit fall like rain. Let Your Spirit pour down, let Your Spirit pour down.” Thank You Lord.

Once it breaks I will be back on the road.

Update. I headed back to home. Still raining but nice.

Cycled 14.16MI. Average speed 10mph. Time 1:27:00 hrs.

Tomorrow is another new day. Let’s see what God has planned for it. Blessings upon blessings to my friends, family and community. Together we are united under God.
