We have been blessed this month in Central Ohio with very nice weather for cycling. I’m currently ahead of schedule for meeting my mileage goal and have been fortunate to receive donations that surpass my goal in that area. Thank you again to all that have supported me this year…it’s hard to express my gratitude.
Getting back into the habit of riding regularly, I’ve been riding the Sawmill Trail leaving from the house directly to the trail. After this 3rd day of riding it will be time to venture out to other bike trails such as Tall Grass in Marion, Ohio and several sections of the Ohio-Erie Rail Trail over the next couple of weeks. Doing this for the kids that are enduring their cancer treatments everyday is what this is all about!
It’s never a holiday to be diagnosed with cancer, so getting out there for the kids early on Labor Day takes on a new meeting for me this morning. A comfortable ride of 13 miles (my lucky number) starts the ball rolling and moves me forward towards my 200 mile goal. Happy Labor Day to all and especially those that are supporting me. A Labor of Love indeed 😍
