I DID IT !!!! 300 MILES in 24 days. I am excited to announce that today, today of all days I was able to finally pass a couple of E-Bikes. Okay, they were stopped but in my mind a passing is a passing.
I love achieving goals especially this one. These beautiful, wonderful kids always have a special place in my heart. Cancer is a cruel challenge for each of them and their families. As I read their stories my heart breaks at the unfairness of it all and yet as I look at their photos I see smiles, and hope and I want to help even more.
There are six days remaining in the 2025 Challenge and...... I feel the urge to set one more goal. I plan on riding a mile for each of my trips around the sun. I'm going to pledge 1 dollar for each year I have been on this blue sphere circling the sun. It may come as a shock to many that will be 71 more miles.
Took a couple of days off. (actually my job got in the way of Riding) Back at it the last two days. Currently sitting at 216 miles.
Took advantage of a little rest today. Had my wife drop me off at a location south of Moab called Pack Creek Ranch. My ride was 15 miles of down hill roadway. It was just what the body needed.
There were some challenges in todays ride. Big thunder storm left mud and water in its wake. Ohh well.. We have been praying for rain so I have no complaints.
Completed 22 miles today. Total at 160 miles.
138 miles are now completed as of today. I realized yesterday that I have had more close calls with E-Bikes than have ever had with vehicles. Keep your head on a swivel. It's no fun getting hit.
Tomorrow is donation match day. What a wonderful time to do something good for helping find cures and treatments for children's cancer. Thank you for your donations thus far.
100 MILES.... Always feels good to hit that mark. The rest will be easy. (or so it seems) Since I turned 71 this year I am thinking about adding that in additional miles. Lets see how the next three weeks go.
Sunday ride on the bike trail. Weather was not to bad. Week # 2 is about to start, and I'm ready to get some more miles in. My goal is to be beyond the 50% mark this week. BY THE WAY. Wednesday is donations match day. All donations will be matched up to 1.5 million dollars. Please join with me and make this happen.

I have enjoyed supporting this event for 10 years. A huge thanks to those who have supported me in this endeavor.
Love it when a plan comes together. Weather - Perfect. Bike Trail - Perfect. Time to Ride - Perfect. A good day.
Making progress on the miles as well as the fund raising
