Boy was that hard tonight… but I didn’t give up! Cheer me on friends 📣 8 miles to 100!
So happy completed two 40+ minute rides this week … here being the first! Two years ago, I fell off my bike outdoors and haven’t been back on til now! I feel so grateful I moved past my fear enough to try once again. The ride felt great. So freeing … happy to help the kids who need us. I did it! Reached our first goal now onto 100 miles!
Do you know I have osteoarthritis, and I’ve learned that to keep moving is the best thing. Movement is medicine, and the pool adds even more benefits—low to no impact while still getting the heart rate up. cardio is so important too. Finding ways to get that in is challenging.
Today’s aqua cycling helped me get in more miles for The Great Cycle Challenge while keeping mobility and cardiovascular health in check. 💙🚴♀️💦
Love your body enough to discover new ways to move. As we age—or when injuries happen—always find what feels good for your body and mind. Never give up. You are worth it. Live a healthier lifestyle.
Good morning! Today is the day remember each beautiful moment, cherishing her short time on Earth and knowing our angel is always with us, gets me through each day missing my great niece, Julia. Never understanding why but trusting that we will be together again. Her memory lives on.
Today is also the day to help other children live! Fight cancer. Together with the Children’s Research Fund and The Great Cycle Challenge we have donors willing to match the donations we receive today! This, my friends is the best day to donate!
Thank you to the many that have made your donation and 📣 cheering me on! 😘
Had a great morning in the sunshine out door and first did water areobics, swam 10 laps and 20 mins aqua cycling… feeling great. Doing what I can to help the kids who need us!
Some days are meant to be creative and listen to your body. Nothing will stop me so I took it to my level today. Aqua cycling was perfect on my back pedaling my legs pushing my feet, feeling my arms work as well through the water. Each stroke, each rotation to my legs, each push through the resistance of the water was my therapy and also my determination to do this for the kids.
I did it! And I’m sure later be on my bike 🚲 tomorrow too! Cheer me on friends and family. I need you. We need you.
This challenge has been such a test of my ability as the 10th year and sore knees prevail but I won’t give up as the children won’t either. So here we go day 3 and 2 rides down… let’s kick cancers butt!
