Every morning I hop on my bike and ride to work. It’s part of my daily routine, but this ride is bigger than just me.
My mom beat kidney cancer. Watching her fight changed how I see life. She made it through, but not everyone does. And no child should have to carry that kind of burden.
As a dad to two amazing kids, five and seven, I can’t imagine what it’s like for parents who hear the words “your child has cancer.” That’s why I’m taking on the Great Cycle Challenge! I want to ride for those kids, those families, and that fight.
I’ve been riding every workday, averaging 5.2 miles a day about 156 miles a month. Now I’m pushing to double it to get to 300 miles. I’m motivated. I’m ready. And I’m asking for your help to hit my $500 fundraising goal.
Every mile I ride and every dollar you give brings us one step closer to a world where kids don’t have to fight cancer. If you’ve got a few dollars to give, it matters and goes to a great cause.
This is just the beginning. Let’s ride with purpose. Let’s ride for the kids!
