I honestly can't express my thanks to all of you who ❤️ or👍 or commented on my posts! I enjoy riding immensely, but there are times when it gets monotonous.
Thanks to the Lum's Pond gang for riding with me along the C&D canal trail. It's a beautiful trail, and riding with such wonderful people was a pleasure.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you who took the time to donate to this worthwhile cause. And a special shout out to Michael Tucci, Paul Rhodes, and Shell Presperin Kline for chatting with me about why I ride.
I ride because there are thousands of children who cannot. I ride because I'd like to see cures for the cancers affecting these warriors. I ride because I'm just one person who would love to be able to help somehow. I ride because I care.
It's been a rough couple of days. Babysitting a four-year old who lives a mile from school is a lot of work! Happy work, but tiring!
Transitioning back to bike riding was difficult this time - maybe ozone levels or the humidity, but it was tough. Thanks to all who texted me support notes. It means a lot knowing you're rooting for me.
The forecast here in DE looks like tomorrow may be my last day to ride while I'm here, because you know, if the Casellas are at Lum's Pond, there's a hurricane a'brewin'.
Keep the encouragement coming. It's much appreciated.
If you've been thinking about donating, it's not too late. Go to my challenge page for the address.

Couldn't wait to ride this morning! Weather looked a bit iffy, but I needed to ride! 2 1/2 miles from home it started to drizzle. Oh well, cut my ride a bit short. Maybe later, depending on the forecast.

18.26 miles!
Where's the warm weather we had earlier this summer? Wore a hoodie today to ride, and stopped to put the hood over my helmet, hoping to cut down the noise from the wind. It didn't work at all!
Thanks to my family and friends who are supporting me in this challenge!
