My son Travis is a cancer survivor! He fought cancer in his early adult years. Praise God, he is living a cancer free life! My sister-in-law Sue is living with and fighting cancer each and every day. She is a warrior. My sister-in-law Sharon fought cancer with all her might! She is the bravest person I've known. She showed such courage and positivity during her 10+ years battle with multiple cancers. I want to do this ride for each of them, to honor them and to help others that are beginning the battle. We all have friends and family that are fighting the hard battle against cancer. One diagnosis changes everything about life. This is my small part to help.

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
