When I signed up to ride in this great cycle challenge I knew that I wanted to ride in someone's honor but, I just could not come up with someone to ride for & now I know why........God had a special Angel in mind! My friend's son gained his wings on May 6th this year. God put it on my heart to ask Susan if I could ride in Spencer's honor & being the strong amazing woman that she is said, of course! Here is what she wanted to say: "Thank you so much for doing this. Spencer Green 19 years old was the youngest kid in the US with esphogeal cancer. He fought a hard 10 months before our Lord called him home. He was my best friend and my strength. I know he no longer sufferes but, living everyday without him is the hardest thing ever. He was my entire world for 19 years." ~ Susan Green( 1of the most extraordinary mothers I have ever known!)

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge in honor of #SpensersCancerBusters #SpencerStrong who gained his wings to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
