One Month. One Goal. Fight Kids’ Cancer

Hi,

I’m reaching out to all my past sponsors to say thank you for your previous support and to ask you to consider supporting this year’s 400-mile ride during the month of September to fight kids' cancer! This is my fifth year riding in the Great Cycle Challenge, and with your help, I’ve raised over $9,000 and ridden over 1,800 miles in the past four years. In 2025, together, we can achieve two major milestones: eclipsing $10,000 raised and breaking 2,000 miles ridden. This wouldn’t be possible without your support.

This year, I’m honored to ride for 3-year-old Haddie Honeycutt, the daughter of my work colleague, Shelby Falls. On May 11th, 2024, Haddie was diagnosed with Pre-B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL) after experiencing concerning symptoms for about a month. Haddie and her family (Shelby & Hunter) were rushed to the hospital, where she received immediate blood transfusions, and her battle officially began. Within two days, she had a port placed and started chemotherapy along with countless other medications. Despite the constant poking and testing, Haddie stays infectiously positive, which makes this terrifying time a bit easier to manage. As of June 2024, after just one month of treatment, the cancer is no longer in her blood or bone marrow. Haddie still has a long road ahead, but she’s a superhero, and she’s kicking cancer’s butt.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So, I’m riding to raise funds to support these brave kids and their families—especially Haddie, Shelby, and Hunter—as they face the scariest time of their lives.
