My Story
Hey there friends after going septic in 8/23 and suffering from fluoroquinolone toxicity syndrome from treatment I
suffered from disability involving tendon and soft tissue deterioration I was to sick to continue in 2023 I ruptured Achilles tendon 10/23 and was taken off any weight bearing exercises and said it would heal on its own if I stayed off of it my grandma passed away 12/23 she was a cervical cancer survivor she ended up loosing her battle to the end stages of copd possible complications of lung cancer but not ever confirmed my uncle was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in January 2024 with an estimate of 4 to 9 month life expectancy in July 2024 I was put in a walking boot until October 18 2024 and told that I may need surgery to repair the tendon in 10/24 while I was still in the boot my mom dad uncle and sister made a road trip to scatter her ashes in December 2024 I lost my uncle to the complications of lung cancer he fought so hard to live and caught pneumonia which got him removed from his clinical trial that seemed to be the only thing helping. A lot has been going on and I still have not done the tendon surgery yet but my dr has given me approval to ride a bike as long as it’s a pedal assisted e bike and I’m not putting to much strain on the tendon so finally after 2 long years I’m back in the challenge and want to do as much as I can to help cure this disease
