My grandmother died after a battle with cancer, one of many lives cut short. I have lost count of the number of people I've known impacted by this disease. While it is hard for anyone, it is especially awful for a child and their family to face it. Progress against any cancer is progress against all cancer, so whether you feel called to donate to this or another worthy organization, please help as you are able!

This September I am once again taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer. I am riding in memory of my grandmother, who died after a battle with cancer, and for all the friends who died or were impacted by it.

Progress against any cancer is progress against all cancer, and I can't think of a better place to make progress than helping kids!
