I'm Riding For

Branden Winters and Suzanne Kidwell

My best friend, Branden Winters fought a long hard battle with cancer, and passed away a few years ago. He was a real warrior who didn’t go down without a fight. I continue to ride in memory of him, and know that he would want every child to have a fighting chance to beat cancer. I am also riding this year for a good friend who was like a mother to me, Suzanne Kidwell. She has given so much to so many kids with her amazing kindness, knowledge, wisdom and strong spirit. She recently passed away last year and fought a long and hard battle. I can’t express in words how much I hate cancer, and I hope to someday see it completely gone from this world. I wanted to nominate riding for her in memory as well. She is such an amazing human, and was such a perfect example on being a loving and giving persons. I know she would want others to have a fighting chance against this disease, and I know she is up there rooting us all on to raise some money to beat cancer. As long as I have air in my lungs and can continue using my body to ride, I will continue to ride and raise money for these kids, and I pray that they all have a fighting chance to kick cancer in the teeth!! We Ride!!!
