Mary Harte (Godmother)

I am riding to cure kids’ cancer in 2025. But I am also dedicating this year’s challenge to my Aunt Mary (Godmother), who recently passed due to cancer. I am blessed having her in my life from childhood to now. She will be sorely missed.

My Story

This is my 5th year participating in the Great Cycle Challenge. It has been a privilege and an honor to be a small part of this organization.

I have ridden over 2,700 miles and we, together, have raised $10,877.00.

I have set a miles goal of 715 for the month of September and a financial goal of $2,500.00. If successful, we will surpass 3,400 miles and $13,000.00 raised for this terrific cause.

I look forward to meeting and surpassing both goals with your help. All donations go to the Children’s Cancer Research Fund.

I had issues with the GCC app intermittently throughout the month. I always use my Garmin bike app as a back up (can you imagine riding 40, 50, 60 miles and find out it never recorded)? 🫨

I always have a redundant way to

Monitor time and miles.
