I'm Riding For
Tim, Pam, Earl & many more
Cancer is an ugly word. It is scary for adults. Think how much more so for children. This is my third year riding t fight kid's cancer. Thank you to my supporters form previous years, and another thank you to all of you have helped support me this year.
My Story
This September I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer for my third year!
Cancer is brutal. It has claimed the lives of several people in my family, and more are living with cancer today. The thought of kids dealing with cancer is heartbreaking to me.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.

Done with my goal - with special weirdness
30 Sep 2025Got to work and had 3 miles left to reach my goal. No problem. 9 mile commute home, so easy. Until…..
As I was rolling my bike out the door I spotted a rip in the tread of the front tire. Hmm. But I could make it home. Nope. Got 2/3 of a mile and the tire let go. No patching that unless I had some dollar bills to line the inside of the tire (old trick but I didn’t have any cash).
Got some very appreciated help from Floyd Kezele got me a ride home.
Not feeling like fighting with the road bike into hopped on my mountain bike and got the miles I needed.
So 200 miles plus a smidge. Not anywhere near the 1100 I did a few years ago.
Thank you to everyone that donated to the Children’s Cancer Research Fund through this event. You are all awesome.
