One year ago my baby's world turned upside down and Nevada was admitted to the hospital for her first round of chemo for Synovial Sarcoma. She was in and out (mostly in) of the hospital for 7 months suffering through cancer treatment that almost destroyed her little body, which got down to 84#. Today, one year later shes in 🎗remission, has a job, a car, beautiful curly hair coming in 😯, and is actually enjoying summer this year vs lying in a hospital bed. All i can say is, God ✝️is Good! He answers prayers and got my little girl where she is today. And he knows my prayers are to keep cancer kicked so it NEVER comes back!
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
