Elaine Johnson Eck

This ride is for my mom, my first and best friend, who fought a brave fight against cancer, but ultimately lost that battle. She was brilliant and beautiful, and she loved life to the fullest. Somewhere, she is hiking and skiing and dancing the night away to the sounds of a swing era band....

My Story

This September , I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Kids should be out playing, not suffering with cancer. I also ride in tribute to my mom, Elaine, who was beautiful inside and out. She loved kids, and hated to see them suffer. She also loved to ride her bike. So, this June, I will try to ride 300 miles for the kids, in honor of my best friend, who was also my mom. I think she would like this!
