I have been hesitant to leave the Eisenbahn Trail, after three people in my church last year were in serious bike accidents. I've done a little riding elsewhere, but often use the sidewalks to avoid car collisions. A friend of mine recently found out her 6-year-old granddaughter has cancer, and getting those updates makes my riding and raising money for this cause all the more pertinent. I also am aware of the funding cuts to cancer research at the federal level. Your money is going to a great cause! Thanks, again!! God bless you!”

I am not feeling super sore, so I should be able to get in shape for the challenge in September. I babysit during the school year, which means I need to get my 200 miles in after the kids get picked up at 4pm. The evenings are much shorter in September so I have to be able to pump harder than I do these days. The support for the cause keeps me motivated. Thanks, again!! :)”

Right now, my pastor and a close friend are both fighting for their lives because of cancer. The woman I sat by in choir for the past decade lost her fight last week, and a friend's little 6-year-old granddaughter is being treated for an aggressive and painful cancer. It's all so sad! With the funding being slashed at the federal level, it's even more important to fund raise for this cause now. I really appreciate your support!! :)”
