Children with cancer face anxiety, fear, doubt and physical exhaustion 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. So this year I will ride 752 miles.

I am sure I will be in calf-pain every day. I am sure I will be exhausted at bedtime. Why would I do it? The average cancer treatment for a child last hours to days. The average treatment cycle is 3-6 months long. Some live with that to the very end. Even the children who survive have lasting physical and mental scars from the illness.
