Thank you for riding to fight childhood cancer. For many years my children participated in Alex's Lemonade Stands to raise funds for this same cause. It was both meaningful and so very difficult. Following Linda's journey this year with cancer has been so gut wrenching. As you mentioned, Linda is a force to be reckoned with in her advocacy and commitment to feeding, supporting, getting services for and giving hope and friendship to the unhoused in her area. Doing all this while battling cancer has proven that she is something magical. We are lucky to call her family and celebrate her by supporting your ride. In our culture donating any multiple of 18 is a way to honor life. Each letter that spells the word for life (chai) is given a numerical value and they add up to 18. It is our hope that you will see our donation both as a commitment to fighting childhood cancer, and a wish for life and health for Linda, and all her amazing friends.”
