I am raising these funds in memory of my mother who passed away from Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and for myself (non-smoker’s lung cancer) and those many relatives and friends who were lucky and fortunate enough to beat cancer.

My Story

To my friends and family,

This month, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I am also facing my own challenge - I was diagnosed with non-smoker’s lung cancer last year. But as tough as I might be - these kids fighting their cancers are on a whole different level and that’s why it’s important for me to keep fighting to bring an end to childhood cancer.

Since I’m still recovering from a lobectomy surgery, I am pedaling on my indoor trainer for the entire month and my goal is to ride at least 100 miles.

Why am I doing this? Because cancer is the largest killer of children from disease in the U.S. – on average, 38 children die of cancer every week!

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

It will be tough, but nothing compared to what these kids face every day of their lives as they battle this terrible disease.

And so I am taking on a personal challenge to raise $2,500 to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

But to achieve my goal, I need your support.
