My Story

2025 - my eleventh year riding in this challenge! Wow! I am finally at my goal weight and theoretically this should make the challenge easier. But September is literally the worst month to choose to do this. I don't ride on Saturdays, or the Jewish holidays. Or during hurricanes (hopefully we won't see any this year!) But I am determined to make this happen. Went on a "shakedown cruise" yesterday to make sure the equipment is still in good working order (mine and the bike's). So far so good! Will now be riding more frequently to build up endurance and hit the challenge head-on! Please consider supporting the cause, helping children with cancer and helping an aging Rabbi get some much-needed exercise. See you out there! - RC
