My father - who passed away January of 2021 and was a life long bicycle enthusiast. My brother - passed away at 26 in December 1989 after battling a rare form of cancer.

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? I did the ride in 2021 because I lost my Dad in January 2021 and he loved riding his bicycle. I just wanted to do something that would make me feel closer to him. And this is a great cause, as cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. My Dad was always one to help the community, so I will ride in memory of him and his spirit of giving.

I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
