My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Week 3

Today is the end of week 3 , one more week to go. The weather was perfect for a morning ride. I rode around our beautiful town watching all the Halloween decorations going up and caught some pee wee football games in the park. I was able to put on 18.7 miles which put me over my goal of 100 miles. Hurray! Even though I have completed my initial goal, I am going to keep on peddling. This will give me an expected goal for future challenges. Thank you to all who have supported me , your donations mean so much to these kids and their families. Any one who is interested in donating can still do so , the challenge ends at the end of September. Have a great day and Choose Happy.
