Kate
This is Kate….. She is 5 years old….. Kate was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma in October 2019 when she was 3-years-old. She had a 9 centimeters by 9 centimeters mass in her abdomen along with cancer in her liver, femur, tibia, and spine. Kate went through 5 rounds of chemo, tumor resection, high-dose chemo stem cell transplant, radiation, and immunotherapy. After a year and a half of fighting, she is now cancer free! She is on a clinical trial called DFMO that is given to prevent relapse. She continues to amaze everyone with her strong faith and love of life! Please pray for Kate and her family that Kate remains cancer free as she continues to win her battle with cancer!
My Story
This September, Kathy I are taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So, we are raising funds through our challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
