September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. And this September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because having witnessed my husband in his battle with this disease, I saw the benefits of the research. Most of the time, during his ten-year battle, he was able to do anything and everything he wanted to do.

Cancer treatments have advanced so much, still right now, cancer is the leading cause of death from any disease among children in the United States. Sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So, I am raising funds through my challenge to support the Children’s Cancer Research Fund. Their ongoing work is crucial in developing lifesaving treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
