I'm Riding For
David , Owen and Jenny

Cancer has personally struck my family. Each time I ride, I feel thankful that I can give to others for a great cause. I find every mile I ride rewarding. My son is now 19, but at 5 years old was diagnosed with Juvenile polyps. After 9 surgeries before the age of 9 and many colonoscopy's he is cancer-free and will continue to get screened every 3 years. My brother passed away from lung cancer, and although an adult at the time, my rides are still inspired by him.
My Story
This September, I am participating in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! This is my 7th year doing this ride to support the fight against kids' cancer.
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. My son, Owen is a cancer survivor. Without these donations, he wouldn't have had the needed opportunities and medications. I also lost my brother to cancer. My son and brother inspire me each year to give to others who are fighting.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
I am raising funds through my challenge and my love to cycle to help these kids and support the Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by donating to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
