My Story

This September, I am excited to be taking part in my THIRD Great Cycle Challenge to help fight kids' cancer! I'm riding for my son and all the other kids and families that have fought, are fighting, and will fight pediatric cancer. Last year WE raised $1,205 dollars. I'd love to beat that number this year with YOUR help! Keep reading for a bit more on why this is such a meaningful event for me and one that I take great pride in being a part of.

In 2016, my son began having some health issues. To make a very long story short, we discovered that he has a brain tumor. Through the incredible care of his doctors and nurses, he is alive and doing so well! His tumor cannot be removed, but it has been dormant now for over 8 years. Through it all, he continues to be so strong. Liam is kind, caring, and smart. I couldn't be more proud of him - and his sister for all of her love and support that she gives him. Cancer is a battle I wish no one had to face, but I'm grateful for the doctors, nurses, family, and friends that have helped and continue to help him. Through this difficult and incredible journey, I've learned how underfunded pediatric cancer is. Let's do something about it! Please consider donating to this important cause.
